I think it's about that time when I switch my archiving to months instead of weeks, of course this will essentially fry any links to past archives published by me and others... ah the price we pay to be less bloated...
And I have one very "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to wish to the one, the only, Miss Tracey Chan (applause rains down in background). Now everyone must go but her something off her wishlist! Hehehe.
You didn't have to ask "where are my greetings" you silly child =P
As always I am ever unaware of the date until I get my much needed sleep.
I'm feeling semi-accomplished, I cleaned up all my files yesterday, upgraded my virus DAT files, removed useless network protocols, and got Devon's computer to share my internet connection (note: said machine is a MAC).
Thing is, in all my hustling and bustling I fucked my DSL connection, that's right, it went dead-o, I spent the entire night trying to fix it, disregarding other more pressing "life" issues. I woke up at 8am this morning just to call Tech Support, as I find out, some wacky configuration means that one of the devices must be installed but disabled, this completely messed me up since whenever I see a disabled device, I try to fix it, go figure. Anyway, after an hour of phone time, countless reboots, and much stress, it's back, oh yes, it's back baby.
An added bonus, I have file sharing working via the Mac and PC perfectly, though only through ftp, but hey, it's the best you can hope for running Windows 98 and OS 9, and zero money or hacker friends to hook you up with something like Dave =P Does anyone know a good (and free) ftp client for the macintosh? And an ftp server? (OS 9 only)
If you guys ever wondered how long the Jurassic Park t-shirt has been in existence, here's a picture of Ram and I (we were either in primary school at the time, or form 1)... yes, that long ago.
