Florida plates. Almost killed us today. We spun around at least twice on 826 North. You know that old saying, "Well God smile on yuh boy..." We spun across two lanes, and ended up almost perpendicular to the wall (slightly tilted toward oncoming traffic), literally 2 inches away from a final *crunch*.

The fact no cars hit us, or we them, and managed to stop just before slamming into the wall. Wow.

He pulled directly onto us from the right lane, without signaling (big surprise right?). And I'm not talking pulled in front, he pulled ON us, he was bloody parallel to us at the time.

You know what the guy did after? After I burst out of the car and ran into the middle of the highway (because oddly, he didn't seem to be pulling over...) he SHRUGS at us and drives the fuck off. Drives off. Didn't even care to see if we sustained any damage to our vehicle, if we needed assistance. Drove off.

Highway Patrol took his information but since we didn't get a call back, they didn't pick him up. Some people really need to die.

I could really give a fuck.

Maybe I'm bitter. Maybe I'm too lazy to fight for any cause.

Or maybe, I could just really give a fuck.

Why should I care about people, most of which simply overstayed their bloody visas (i.e. didn't flee oppression on a couple of PVC tubes slung together), when I am here trying to do things the LEGAL way and getting screwed every which way I turn. And I ain't alone.

Oh cry me a motherfucking river. You think you got rights? Rights my behind. You knew the rules, the laws, when you got here. That's why you're "illegal" - Oh wait, you don't speak English.

If they send your ass back, tough shit, your gamble just didn't pay off, but don't go protesting and bellyachin' like the US government owes you something.

Hell at this rate my chances would've been better if I just said piss off after school and started working with no papers. Then I'd fall into the "more than 2 years" category and be golden.

It really irks me to see bills batted around the senate based largely on "making nice" because a whole lot of people will be pissed off otherwise. True, no matter how you cut it somebody's going to pissed. They're just doing what they do, trying to piss off the least amount as possible. And so be it, that's the name of the game. But it doesn't mean I can't be immensely annoyed that the people in my position are in the silent minority - as evidenced by the level of profanity in this post.
