What is it with girls that you know are attracted to you always asking, "So how's your girlfriend doing?"

The question sometimes boggles the mind, but I have come up with some possible reasons:

1. Just to fuck with your head.
2. An attempt to disarm any "tension" by appearing to not be attracted to you.
3. Throw it in your face that you could be getting down and dirty with them, instead of being with some other bitch.
4. In hopes of letting you know, that THEY know you have a girlfriend, and although they're attracted to you they ain't messing around with that, so don't go getting any horner woman ideas.
5. They are in fact, not attracted to you, get over yourself.

Ladies, fill us in, why do you do it? What are your nefarious motives...?
